What Quicktrim Systems are Available for Your EPDM Flat Roof?

The final stage in fitting EPDM rubber roofing is fitting the over flashings where a roof joins a brick wall.
This is normally done with a plastic coated metal flashing strip called a wall trim, but can also be a metal gutter drip quicktrim. The cheapest option is usually the metal edge trim, which can come with a metal gutter edge trim too. From a practical perspective it does work, but it can make a domestic roof look somewhat ugly, especially if the bolts are visible from the floor or a nearby window.
Plastic roof trims are a good option for small domestic roofs, and there are some highly attractive choices on the market today that will make all the difference to the finished look.
- There are different kinds of trims, including edge trims which keep the water on the roof and drive it towards your drip trim.
- The drip trim is a water run off point that drips into a gutter.
- Quicktrim ® is the original EPDM trim product and we believe that it is still the best EPDM rubber roofing edge. It's solid, environmentally friendly, takes half the time to install and looks great when finished.
- Quicktrim ® has been tried and tested successfully since 1997 and provides a secure flat roof perimeter detailing that will enhance the look of any commercial or domestic property.
- Quicktrim ® is such a successful EPDM rubber roofing edge as it is made of recycled polystyrene, it retains its colour, flexibility and is UV stable. Moreover, it cannot rust and dirt washes off easily with the help of a mild detergent. An added bonus is its low installation costs and minimal maintenance, which combine to make it a very economical solution.
